DEVELOPMENTAL/RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS
All Programs will be 6 weeks long on Wednesday or Friday nights. There are typically 2 Waves, the first starting roughly in mid-May, the other starting in July. Costs for the Programs is below.
New this year: Highschool House league. You have an option to join as a team or as an individual to be placed on a team. On TeamSnap, please indicate if you are registering as an Individual or a team. If you are registering as a team, please put a team captain’s name in. Team registrations won’t be complete until 5 players register.
If you have not done so before, you must sign up for TeamSnap using the links provided (once the Programs are set) before registering for the actual Program.
Be prepared to play beach. Dress for the weather. No shoes required. Bring lots of water. You will need sunscreen and bug spray.
NOTE: We recognize that not all children will enter the pathway at the same age or athletic skill level. Also, not all children will develop at the same rate once they enter. The key is that they are in a program appropriate for their skill level and that they feel comfortable socially. Recommended ages are guidelines only.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS

| Junior Spikes | 9-11 | Basic introduction to individual Beach volleyball skills such as forearm passing, setting, attacks and serving. |
| Senior Spikes | 12-14 | Builds on skills learned in JR Spikes Beach volleyball skills such as forearm passing, setting, attacks and serving. |
| SR Rec HL Beginner | 12-14 | Builds on skills developed in Spikes in a game play environment on the Beach courts. Teams are 4v4. |
| Junior RHL | 9-11 | Builds on skills developed in Spikes in a game play environment on the Beach courts. Teams are 4v4. Note: we will not be offering Junior RHL in Wave 1, only Wave 2. |
| SR Rec HL Advanced | 12-14 | 4v4 league for players with OVA team or previous developmental program experience. Players should be able execute skills consistently and understand basic volleyball plays. |
| High School House League | 14-17 | Co-ed 4v4 teams. Minimum 2 girls on the court at a time. Play 2 30-minute games each night at either 6:00 & 6:30 pm or 7:00 & 7:30pm. |

ADMINISTRATIVE DETAILS FOR ALL PROGRAMS
Payments:
Payments will be collected through TeamSnap on your credit card.
Refund Policy:
- If you cancel your registration up to 1 week prior to the program start date, a refund of the fee less a $25 admin fee will be issued. Please contact [email protected] if you need to withdraw.
- Refunds for withdrawals within 1 week of the start of the program are at the discretion of the board. For refund consideration, please contact [email protected].
- Once the program has begun, there will be no refunds
- In the event that a participant is unable to attend a class(es), refunds, credits or makeup class(es) will not be offered.
- If the registrant accepts an offer from tryouts for one of our competitive teams, a full refund will be provided for developmental program registrations.
Weather Policy:
All programs will run during the winter regardless of weather with the exception of a school board cancelling a permit. If the school board cancels a permit due to the weather, we will not be issuing refunds, credit, makeup sessions, etc.
