Volunteer

The Brant Youth Volleyball Club is a not-for-profit organization that requires volunteers to run. All of our much appreciated coaches volunteer their time to develop and promote volleyball in the Brantford region.

All individuals over the age of 18 are required to get a police check to volunteer in the gym with the youth athletes. If you need the letter to take to your local police station, please email [email protected] 

Competitive team volunteers have courses that are required by the OVA. The OVA has published the 2023-2024 Coach Eligibility Policy. Click HERE to review the Policy.  The Brant Youth Volleyball Club will pay for the courses required and do our best to support you in your coaching development. 

Coach Application Form

To coach a competitive team, you must be willing to complete the OVA required courses. The Brant Youth Volleyball Club will pay the registration fees and support you on your coaching journey.

A police check is required for all volunteers that are 18+ and must be completed before the program start date.
Experience is preferred but not required. We will work to support and mentor you to allow you to gain confidence in a coaching role.
